The Pyrospectaculars behind Cai Guo-Qiang

On Saturday April 7 2012, artist Cai Guo-Qiang marked the opening of his exhibition with Mystery Circle: Explosion Event for The Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles; a site-specific work created for MOCA.

This spring 2012 MOCA LA will present the first solo exhibition on the West Coast of artist Cai Guo-Qiang. As a key part of the exhibition, Cai is planning new gunpowder drawings. These large-scale drawings will be made on-site with the assistance of local volunteers.
