In Your Arms - Kina Grannis
A stop-motion animation done with a background composed of jelly beans. It’s a crazy project that required 22 months, 1,357 hours, 30 people, and 288,000 jelly beans. They could have used CGI, of course, but each frame was carefully created by hand and photographed with a still camera. It’s even more mind-blowing given this fact: none of it was done with a green screen.

Willy Shyr - The Hapiness Project
Inspired by the Juno Award-winning album The Happiness Project by Charles Spearin (Broken Social Scene, Do Make Say Think), a team of artists each interpreted one of the tracks of the album in an individually designed room.
Willy was invited by Artist Bloc, a Toronto arts collective and the project's organizer, to be a part of this exhibit. The artist was given the track Ondine, which centers on an interaction between Spearin and his daughter, and created a mixed-media installation consisting of a balloon sculpture and an audio-reactive visual projection.
